DARTMOOR SOCIETY APPOINTMENT CALENDAR 2009

Our 2009 Appointment Calendar is now available. Produced by Forest Publishing, it contains 12 fine colour photographs of Dartmoor by Karen Lang and Elisabeth Stanbrook, as well as a page of information about the Society. This year, the Calendar features Powder Mills, Hisley Bridge (R. Bovey), Beetor Cross, the River Teign near Steps Bridge, The Old Inn at Widecombe, Venford Reservoir, Thornworthy Tor Logan Stone, the River Lyd at High Down Ford, ponies near Haytor Rocks, Piles Copse, Teign-e-ver Clapper Bridge and ‘Ammil’ on Rippon Tor.

CHRISTMAS CARD 2008

Our 2008 Christmas Card features another fine Dartmoor image taken by Martin Stephens-Hodge, this year of Widgery Cross on Brat Tor in winter. We are very grateful to Martin once again.

The card is a high-quality colour reproduction, A6 in size (148mm by 105mm approx. when folded), and bears the greeting inside: ‘With Best Wishes for Christmas and the New Year’.
